About Us :
The society for research on Welfare and Policy (WAP) is a non-profitable association composed of economists working on well-being, behaviors, social welfare and the impact of public policies on key societal outcomes.
the objective is threefold:
- To encourage international scientific exchanges in this field (that are not restricted to the timing of specific projects or to specific funding),
- To promote comparative work and data collection (especially in the field of welfare/redistributive policies and wellbeing measures),
- To encourage the use of research tools, both positive and normative, for better policy advice and support to policy makers.
